François Piché-Roy

President and Managing Partner

Founder, president and managing partner of PIXCELL, François has more than 12 years of experience in recruiting senior executives, mid-level executives and board members. As the leader of PIXCELL’s operations, he knows first-hand how important it is to surround yourself with the right people to succeed. Since founding PIXCELL in 2016, he has guided boards of directors and executive committees in the search, assessment and selection of candidates for executive and management positions.

Before starting PIXCELL, François began his career in business development in the software industry. First, he worked for a large global company where he managed major accounts, and then for a French company where he led the development of a strategic plan to penetrate the North American market.

In 2011, he joined a headhunting firm where he quickly started overseeing searches for top-tier positions. A few years later he founded PIXCELL, confident that good consulting can make all the difference in the executive search process, when technology and innovation are leveraged.

Fluent in English, French and Spanish, François graduated from McGill University and is frequently asked to weigh in on the human resources issues that companies face.

Sébastien Laplante -PIXCELL

Sébastien Laplante

Director, Executive Search

Sébastien Laplante is Director, Executive Search at PIXCELL – Leaders Recruiting Leaders. In this role, he works closely with our clients to fully understand their business challenges and ensure the successful search, evaluation and selection of mid-level executives, senior executives and board members.

Sébastien also handles PIXCELL’s offering of human resources consulting services, supporting executive committees and boards of directors in a variety of HR services, particularly those involving succession planning.

Before joining PIXCELL, Sébastien gained over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources, with a particular focus on problem-solving and mapping out organizational structures and the executive positions within them. He has held a variety of management roles at companies in several different industries, mainly consumer goods (CPG/FMCG), retail and operations.

Sébastien holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the Université de Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines. He believes that curiosity and a drive to understand the changing needs of organizations, coupled with a comprehensive approach to human capital management, are the keys to success in business.

Sarah Macheteau

Consultant

As a consultant at PIXCELL – Leaders Recruiting Leaders, Sarah is responsible for building long-lasting relationships of trust and loyalty with both clients and senior executives and/or board members by fully understanding their needs and providing an approach tailored to their expectations.

Before joining PIXCELL, Sarah worked for a global executive search firm in Luxembourg. She subsequently held a role on the talent, diversity and inclusion management team for a major global investment bank in Paris.

Sarah came to Montréal in 2020 as a learning and development specialist for a major global investment bank.

In 2022, she joined PIXCELL, where she helps organizations search, assess, and select executives, senior executives and/or board members.

Sarah holds a Master of Management from the IESEG School of Management in Paris. She has strong international exposure, having lived and/or worked in France, Brazil, Luxembourg and Canada. According to her, innovation is the driver of corporate growth and excellence, and human capital is the key to achieving these goals.

Denis Carter

Denis joined PIXCELL in December 2017 as a Strategic Advisor for Senior searches in Real Estate, Retail and Consumer Goods. Prior to joining the team, Denis had his own Executive Search firm. He also operated as both a franchiser and a franchisee in the hospitality industry and held executive positions at CULINAR in the Food processing industry and grocery sector at PROVIGO.

Denis’ successful track record in the recruitment sector stems from his extensive experience working on the Client side and his in-depth understanding of the inner workings of their organizations.

Martial Prudhomme senior advisor

Counsel

Martial started his career in Human Resources Management in the para-public sector in real estate and then within the manufacturing and financial industry where he held several Directorships, notably at the Fédération des Caisses Populaires Desjardins in Montreal.

In 1980, he launched his organizational psychology and executive-search practice where he spearheaded several mandates in executive-search, coaching, talent assessment, skills development, and career transition within different industries and with mid-to-large organizations.  In the last  10 years, his practice added engineering as a key sector within Executive Search.

Since January 2020, Martial is Senior Advisor at PIXCELL.  He advises the organization on strategic searches within mostly Engineering and Information Technology.
